History
The roots of the TMRW Foundation can be traced back to the visionary journey of Cevat Yerli, whose passion for technology and innovation shaped his remarkable career from an early age. Having developed his first computer game at just 12 years old, Cevat's entrepreneurial spirit led him to establish Crytek, a pioneering company in the gaming and 3D computing industries, at the age of 19. Crytek's groundbreaking technology revolutionized gaming, setting new standards in graphics and realism that continue to influence the industry today. Driven by a profound belief in the potential of technology to transform reality, Cevat embarked on a new venture in 2017, founding The TMRW Foundation as an independent entity from Crytek. This marked the beginning of a new chapter dedicated to harnessing the power of AI and 3D-related technologies to shape a better future for human connectivity and collaboration.
One of the foundation's earliest endeavors was a collaboration with the UAE Ministry of Health to create a metaverse service center, showcasing its commitment to leveraging technology for societal impact. By 2022, the TMRW Foundation had grown to employ 100 individuals, reflecting its rapid expansion and influence within the technology landscape. At the GITEX Technology Fair in Dubai, Cevat and The TMRW Foundation unveiled ROOM 3D, a groundbreaking virtual teleconferencing platform designed to combat video call fatigue and enhance interpersonal interactions. Developed over three years, ROOM 3D leverages patented RealityOS technology, a cloud-based social 3D communications platform pioneered by the foundation. With ROOM 3D, users can engage with objects and peers in a natural and immersive manner, heralding a new era of virtual collaboration and human-centric technology. Through these initiatives and innovations, the TMRW Foundation continues to push the boundaries of what is possible, striving to build a future where technology serves as a catalyst for positive social change and human flourishing.
Mission
The mission of the TMRW Foundation is to spearhead the creation of the Internet of Life, envisioning a world where interconnected smart devices, data streams, and digital ecosystems seamlessly integrate with everyday life, fostering innovation, efficiency, and sustainability.
