Tomei Consolidated was founded by Isawa Tomei in 1952, who had returned to Tokyo after several years of working abroad. Isawa and three other business partners decided to invest in a small manufacturing company in Tokyo. Over the years, the company grew and expanded into other industries including electronics, automotive, engineering, and construction. In the early 2000s, Tomei Consolidated began to focus on new technology, such as robotics, artificial intelligence research, and renewable energy. It has since become one of the worlds leading innovators in these areas.
