Touchcorp's inception began in 1997 with the formation of a small electronic payments research and development group. Initially, the Australian-based group focused on the development, manufacture, and service of PIN-based card processing terminals. Over time, the group expanded its product offering with technologies such as Chip and PIN, magnetic stripe card readers, contactless card readers and dedicated payment cards. In addition to its Australian headquarters, the company now operates in the U.K., Singapore, China and the U.S. Additionally, Touchcorp expanded its product portfolio to include payment gateway, analytics software and PCI compliance tools.
