History

Toyo Engineering was established in 1950 by Saburo Nagashima and Fumihiko Nagashima. After World War II, the Nagashima brothers saw an opportunity to create an engineering and construction company that could help Japan rebuild and grow its economy. Historically, the company has specialized in oil and gas projects, as well as projects related to chemicals and other industries. As the company grew, its services expanded to include equipment procurement, technology licensing and commercial construction.
