History

Founded in 1925 as the School of Commerce, Trinity Business School has evolved significantly, expanding its offerings from B.A. and BComm degrees to the introduction of an MBA program in 1964, marking its transition into a School of Business Studies. This €80 million, 11,400 square meter building is not only architecturally impressive but also reflects a commitment to sustainability. Housing an innovation and entrepreneurial hub, a 600-seat auditorium, restaurant spaces, smart classrooms, and a rooftop conference room, the facility stands out as a near-zero energy building. Approximately 500 square meters of photovoltaic panels adorn the roof, contributing to the building's electricity needs while offsetting 35 tonnes of carbon annually. To further emphasize eco-conscious practices, recycled rainwater is employed for toilet use.
