History
1990: The company, initially called Ulta3, was launched in 1990 with five stores in Chicago suburbs.
1995: George left Ulta3, and Hanson became the company's, Chief Executive Officer.
1999: In December, Lyn Kirby became the President and Chief Executive Officer and Charles "Rick" Weber became Senior Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer.
2007: On October 25, the company became publicly traded on the NASDAQ.
2008: The company opened a second distribution centre in Phoenix, Arizona.
2010: Carl "Chuck" Rubin was appointed as Chief Operating Officer, President, and a member of the Board of Directors.
2013: On June 24th, it was announced that Mary Dillon would be appointed as Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Board of Directors, effective July 1st.
2015: The company has created 22,000+ jobs created across the country.
