Uponor Oyj was founded in 1918 and is based in Vantaa, Finland.

History

Uponor was formed in 1984 and was initially known as UNIPEX Oy. Since 1996, Uponor has been listed on the Helsinki Stock Exchange. In 2013, Uponor was acquired by a consortium led by Cinven, a leading international private equity firm.
