In addition, the company offers image sensor foundry solutions, which include CMOS image sensor that performs the role of an electronic film in digital photography equipment; and wafer level testing and wafer level optical thin film services. Its CMOS image sensor products are used in various areas, such as digital cameras, camera phones, web cameras, notebooks, security devices, automobiles, and miniature imaging devices used in medical applications. The company was founded in 2003 and is based in Hsinchu City, Taiwan. VisEra Technologies Company Limited is a subsidiary of Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company Limited.
