Visteon Corporation was incorporated in 2000 and is headquartered in Van Buren, Michigan.
History

Visteon Corporation was initially founded as the Automotive Components Group (ACG) in 1961 within the Ford Motor Company. After spinning off 34 years later in 1995, the company became a publicly traded company and changed its name to Visteon Corporation in 2000. In 2013, the company's global operations were sold to its largest shareholder, Premna Holdings Co. Ltd, a Chinese private equity firm.
