
Vranken-Pommery Monopole was founded in 1876 by Pierlot Vranken and Jean-Baptiste Pommery as a champagne house. It is headquartered in Reims, located in Champagne, France. In the 1920s, it became one of the largest champagne producers in France and Europe. In the 1950s, it expanded its production to the many countries, including Australia, Brazil, Canada, the United Kingdom and the United States. Today, Vranken-Pommery Monopole is the leading player in the champagne and spirits markets in France and Europe.
