History

Welspun Enterprises Limited (WEL), was established in 1998, as part of Welspun group, which is a leading Indian conglomerate. WEL is primarily involved in the construction business and provides engineering services to government and industrial organizations in India. From its inception, the company has chosen to focus on Infrastructure development such as roads, bridges, and highways. The company has been awarded projects on a build-operate and transfer (BOT) basis and on an annuity basis. It is also involved in the execution of real estate projects. WEL has operations in India, the Middle East, and Africa.
