Wirral Chamber of Commerce is the fastest growing Chamber of Commerce in the UK. Accedited by the British Chambers of Commerce (BCC), WCC provide their members with a comprehensive suite of services to enable them to grow. It works to be the voice of industry and commerce in Wirral, driving business growth and competitiveness locally, nationally and internationally.
Mission
According to their website, the Chamber's mission is: "to develop and promote Wirral as a vibrant and attractive place in which businesses and the community can thrive, ensuring it is seen as an area recognised for investment, job creation, social wellbeing and economic prosperity."
Vision
As per their vision statement, it is important for WCC, among others: "to develop an effective public-private sector partnership stimulating business and community growth and creating employment opportunities in Wirral" and "to generate revenue that can be re-invested to support business growth and the community".
Through Merseyside Regional Growth Fund, WCC are able to help local businesses access grant funding for projects that create new jobs in the city region.
