History

Yatsen Holding was founded in 2014 by Mr. Zhang Haitao and Mr. Zhang Jinfeng. Initially it was a company focused on skin care products in the offline retail market. The company evolved over time, and in 2015 it began to provide products and services online. In 2017, Yunfeng Life was established. In 2018, the company aquired social media platform The ChatShop. By 2019 Yatsen Holding had become a leading player in the beauty industry with operations in more than 20 countries.
