History

ZhongAn was founded in November, 2013 by Jack Ma, Charles Zhang and Eric Jing. The company was founded to leverage the Internet and technology to make insurance and financial services more accessible, affordable, and user friendly to consumers. The company quickly expanded, launching over 200 products and services, and becoming the largest online insurance company in China in a few short years.
