XION has been chosen as the first-ever Launchpool partner on Bybit's newly MiCAR-licensed European exchange, launching a compliant platform for over 450 million users across 29 EEA markets. This collaboration aims to enhance blockchain adoption in Europe with the backing of Bybit’s regulatory approval and XION’s innovative Layer-1 blockchain.

In a major development for blockchain adoption in Europe, XION, a leading consumer-first Layer-1 blockchain, has been selected as the inaugural Launchpool partner on Bybit's MiCAR-licensed EU exchange. This strategic collaboration represents a significant milestone for both companies as they work together to provide compliant, user-friendly blockchain solutions to European users.

The partnership will enable users across 29 EEA markets to access a range of crypto rewards, including the ability to stake assets like XION, MNT, and USDC, while also adhering to European regulatory standards.

With Bybit’s recent receipt of its MiCAR licence in May 2025, the exchange is now able to offer fully regulated services to European clients, providing a safe and secure platform for cryptocurrency trading and staking. Bybit EU’s regulated environment opens the door for XION’s blockchain to be accessed by a growing audience of verified users, paving the way for mainstream adoption of Web3 technology across the continent.

The Launchpool Initiative: A first for Bybit EU

This groundbreaking partnership sees XION taking centre stage as the first-ever Launchpool project on Bybit's EU exchange. Bybit EU’s newly compliant platform marks the beginning of a new era for digital assets in Europe, as users can now take part in a regulated environment that offers high-yield staking options for XION tokens.

The Launchpool will feature a total pool size of 100,000 XION, allocated across three different staking pools:

  • 50,000 XION will be distributed to XION stakers, offering an estimated APR of 60%
  • 30,000 XION will go to MNT stakers, with an estimated APR of 36%
  • 20,000 XION will be available to USDC stakers, with an estimated APR of 24%

These pools will allow users to earn rewards while supporting the growth and adoption of XION’s Layer-1 blockchain, which has gained traction as one of the few blockchain projects backed by Circle Ventures.

XION’s growing European presence

XION has been steadily expanding its footprint in Europe, having already made significant strides in aligning with European regulatory frameworks. In addition to publishing a MiCA Title II whitepaper, XION has integrated with Paris-based Ledger and recently listed on Bitvavo, strengthening its position within the European blockchain ecosystem.

“Being the very first Launchpool on Bybit EU is a major signal of XION’s deep partnership with Bybit and our shared focus on expanding compliantly in the European markets,” said Anthony Anzalone, Founder of XION. “Europe is now the proving ground for regulated digital assets, and together with Bybit EU, we’re setting a precedent for how mainstream audiences can discover and engage with blockchain technology in a safe, intuitive way.”

A strong partnership with Bybit EU

XION’s relationship with Bybit extends beyond this recent collaboration. The company previously participated in Bybit Global's Launchpool during its Token Generation Event (TGE), showcasing the long-standing commitment between the two companies to make blockchain more accessible.

Mazurka Zeng, CEO of Bybit EU, commented, "Recently securing our MiCAR license in Austria represents our commitment and major focus in 2025 to bring compliant, innovative crypto services to European users. Today's launch with XION, a blockchain focused on mainstream adoption of crypto, demonstrates how regulation can accelerate rather than hinder innovation, and perfectly aligns with our European expansion strategy."

XION’s Mission for Mainstream Adoption

XION is known for its mission to streamline blockchain experiences for everyday users, removing common barriers faced by traditional Web3 platforms. With its walletless Layer-1 blockchain, XION enables consumers to access blockchain technology without the complexities typically associated with Web3. The platform’s focus on removing friction points such as abstracted accounts, signatures, fees, and interoperability is part of its commitment to accelerating the mainstream adoption of Web3.

Through its collaboration with Bybit EU, XION is not only enhancing its European presence but is also setting the stage for broader adoption of blockchain technology in Europe and beyond.
