Aline's interest in neuroaesthetics began during her undergraduate studies in psychology. In 2017, Aline joined Ananda Impact Ventures, a venture capital firm that specializes in impact investment. At Ananda, Aline focused on early-stage investments in startups that were working to address pressing global challenges, such as climate change, social inequality, and access to healthcare and education. During her time at Ananda, Aline led several successful investments, including in the Berlin-based social enterprise OneTraction, which provides digital skills training to refugees and underprivileged youth.
Today, Aline is a Principle with LakeStar, a venture capital firm that invests in technology startups across Europe and the United States. At LakeStar, Aline continues to focus on impact investment, leveraging her knowledge of psychology and neuroscience to identify strong leaders and innovative startups that are making a positive impact on the world. She is passionate about supporting founders who are working to solve some of the world's most pressing problems, and she is known for her ability to identify companies with a strong social or environmental mission.
In addition to her work in impact investment, Aline is also a passionate advocate for diversity and inclusion in the tech industry.
