Her work covers HR leadership, succession planning, capability building, performance systems, talent development, shared services, corporate marketing, culture building, and general management.

 

She has developed and delivered mentoring, leadership development, and organisational restructuring programmes that support agility, change management, workforce capability, and enterprise-wide growth. Her focus areas include designing scalable organisations, strengthening leadership pipelines, enabling culture change, improving employee experience, and coaching senior leaders.

Biography

Dr. Anupama Vaidya’s professional journey began after completing her Computer Science degree and MBA from the Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Pune. She entered the industry in 1994 with Mafatlal Industries as a Management Trainee, where she worked in recruitment, induction, training, performance appraisal, compensation, and general personnel administration. She later supported group-level HR initiatives as Assistant to the Group Senior Vice President (HRD), working closely with senior leadership across the organisation.

 

In 1996, she joined Geometric Software Solutions and spent almost nine years in various roles. She first worked as an HR Consultant managing recruitment, training, appraisals, HR policies, employee relations, and welfare processes. She then led Corporate Marketing, handling the company’s IPO-related activities, external communication, PR, exhibitions, internal communication, marketing material development, and early organisational learning initiatives. She later moved into capability building and organisational development, where she developed career models, leadership programmes, succession planning systems, competency frameworks, and supported restructuring initiatives. In 2006, she became Director – Corporate Support Group, responsible for workplace management, facilities, administration, expansion planning, and technology integration. She was part of the Global Management Team and the Global Executive Team.

 

Between 2001 and 2005, she also worked as a freelance organisational facilitator, supporting medium-sized companies in leadership development, coaching, communication, team building, performance systems, and change management.

 

In 2007, she joined Colgate-Palmolive as Head of HR for Global and Asia Pacific Shared Services Operations, leading recruitment, talent development, performance management, succession processes, training, compensation, and HR administration.

 

In 2008, she moved to the Hinduja Group as Group General Manager – HR, where she led group-wide organisation development, succession planning, leadership programmes, HR support for new ventures, and talent systems for group companies.

 

In 2011, she joined Lodha Group as Senior General Manager and later Vice President for Organisation Development, working on capability building, leadership development, performance and competency systems, culture strengthening, organisation design, employer branding, and productivity improvement.

 

In 2012, she joined Grindwell Norton (Saint-Gobain Group) as Vice President – Human Resources, overseeing HR operations, policy development, rewards, talent and succession management, capability programmes, employee engagement, digital HR initiatives, CSR, compliance, and employer branding.

 

In 2017, she founded Los Aurigas, a boutique business and people strategy firm that helps organisations become scalable and future-ready. Through organisation assessment, design, leadership development, change management, capability building, and neuroscience-based learning, she guides founders, CEOs, and leadership teams in aligning business goals with people strategy. She also co-founded The Innovative Learners Brigade, a learning initiative that encourages shared learning through books, films, discussions, and travel.
