History

Argo Investments was established in 1948 by George Goyder as a quasi-trustee organisation to manage the assets of a number of South Australian families. Its listing on the Australian Securities Exchange in 1961 was the first of its kind in South Australia. It is now one of the oldest listed investment companies in Australia.
