Ariel Assaraf is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Co-founder of Coralogix, a leading company in the field of log analytics, transforming how organisations analyse their operational, application, infrastructure, and security data. He has over 15 years of experience in the technology industry, bringing a wealth of expertise from his roles in both the military and the private sector.
Ariel's career began in Israel's elite intelligence organisation, Unit 8200, where he served from 2007 to 2010. In this role, he was responsible for defining the requirements and designing a data extraction platform used within the unit. He also played a key role in connecting the intelligence and technology units, ensuring the seamless development and integration of intelligence tools. Additionally, Ariel was responsible for examining and procuring new technologies for implementation within the unit and training and supporting operational teams. His contributions to the unit earned him the prestigious Unit 8200 Commander Award.
After his military service, Ariel joined Verint Systems, a global leader in customer engagement and cyber intelligence, where he worked for over four years. He began his tenure at Verint in 2010 as a Quality Architect, where he was responsible for training new and experienced employees, designing large-scale automation tests, and developing a platform for software testing and validation. He was also involved in customer satisfaction research and customer surveys.
His success in these roles led to his promotion to Team Leader in 2012, where he managed multiple near-shore and offshore QA, automation, and integration teams. Ariel's responsibilities also included providing both back-office and on-site support to a wide range of customers and developing large-scale testing and project deployment strategies. In addition, Ariel was a full member of Verint Israel's innovation board, contributing to technology examination and overseeing in-house investments.
In 2014, Ariel co-founded Coralogix, a company focused on providing innovative log analytics solutions. As CEO, he has led the company in revolutionising the way organisations analyse and make use of their observability data. Coralogix offers a unique approach to log analytics, enabling businesses to efficiently manage and gain insights from their data, especially at scale. Under Ariel’s leadership, Coralogix has made significant advancements in its field and continues to be a leader in the data observability space.
In addition to his role at Coralogix, Ariel has worked on several entrepreneurial projects. One such project was cGlue, a self-fulfillment platform launched in 2012. The platform aimed to help individuals achieve their goals by following the footsteps of successful people. Another project, Breakupcall, was a social media initiative that notified Facebook users about changes in the relationship statuses of their friends. This project ran from March to September 2010.
Ariel holds a B.Sc. in Economics and Mathematics from The Open University of Israel, where he graduated magna cum laude in 2015. He was also a member of the Dean’s List in 2013 and 2014. Prior to his university studies, Ariel completed his high school education at Apelman Dimona.
Throughout his career, Ariel has received numerous recognitions for his achievements. He was awarded the Outstanding R&D Employee title at Verint in 2011 and was recognised for his contributions to the Israeli intelligence community with the Unit 8200 Commander Award.
Ariel Assaraf is also an inventor, holding a patent for "Methods and Systems for Detecting Anomalies in Digitally-encoded Events," filed in April 2014 (US 61986185). This innovation highlights his commitment to advancing technology and finding solutions to complex challenges.
