Biography

Arthur Sadoun, a distinguished figure in the advertising and communications industry, embarked on his journey after graduating in 1992 in France. Taking an entrepreneurial leap, he founded Z Group, an advertising agency in Chile, which he successfully sold to BBDO in 1997, marking an early achievement in his career.

Returning to France in 1997, Sadoun joined TBWA, where he quickly ascended the ranks. His roles included Head of International Strategic Planning and Head of Development, followed by appointments as Managing Director in 2000 and CEO in 2003. In December 2006, he assumed the role of CEO of Publicis Conseil, the flagship agency of Publicis Groupe, where he focused on development and securing key clients.

Maurice Lévy recognized Sadoun's leadership qualities and, in January 2009, appointed him CEO of Publicis Worldwide France, overseeing a network of 21 agencies. This role set the stage for his ascent within Publicis Groupe.

In April 2011, Sadoun was appointed Managing Director of Publicis Worldwide, the global network of Publicis creative agencies. His visionary leadership led to his appointment as CEO in October 2013. Notably, in December 2015, Sadoun took on the role of CEO of Publicis Communications, the creative hub of Publicis Groupe, overseeing networks like Leo Burnett, Saatchi & Saatchi, Publicis Worldwide, BBH, MSLGROUP, and Prodigious, with a combined workforce of nearly 30,000 employees.

The pinnacle of his career came in January 2017 when he was announced as Chairman & CEO of Publicis Groupe, officially assuming the role on June 1, 2017. In this capacity, Sadoun became the third leader of Publicis Groupe in its 91 years, following the footsteps of founder Marcel Bleustein-Blanchet and Maurice Lévy. Arthur Sadoun continues to shape the future of one of the industry's major players with his strategic vision and innovative leadership.
