Asure Software, Inc. was incorporated in 1985 and is headquartered in Austin, Texas.
History
Asure Software was founded in 1985 as Software Technologies, Inc. (STI) by Martin Plaehn. The company offered Time & Attendance solutions for enterprise customers via a direct sales model. In 2001, Asure acquired ICS, and stated their goal was to become the leader in delivering workforce management technology to enterprise customers. In 2004, Asure Software was spun out of STI and became an independent public company listed on the NASDAQ. In the same year, they acquired FLX, a mobile workforce management company, and Time America, a leading provider of workforce management solutions. Since then, Asure has continued to expand its product portfolio and expand its market presence.
