History

The AUC Venture Lab is a student-run venture accelerator located at the University of California, Berkeley. It is a unique program that provides students with access to the resources and mentorship they need to turn their innovative ideas into successful ventures.

The AUC Venture Lab was founded in 2015 by a group of UC Berkeley alumni and faculty. The team is committed to creating an environment of support and guidance for students who are interested in creating and launching their own companies.

The Lab provides a variety of resources, such as mentorship, workshops, and funding, that enable students to develop their ideas and launch viable businesses. The Lab also helps students connect to the large network of alumni and investors in the Bay Area.

The AUC Venture Lab has already helped launch more than 30 companies and has been featured in the press and in various publications. In addition, the Lab has held several events and programs, such as the annual Venture Summit, which brings together venture capitalists, entrepreneurs, and students from around the world to discuss the latest trends in the venture capital industry.

The AUC Venture Lab is an invaluable resource for students in the Bay Area and beyond. Investment criteria

As part of its investment process, AUC Venture Lab evaluates startups based on a set of criteria that are designed to identify promising ventures that are likely to succeed and create value for investors.

Mission

The AUC Venture Lab's mission is to empower the African American community to create, launch, and scale tech companies through our incubator program in the Bay Area. They provide access to high-quality mentorship, resources, and funding to help African American entrepreneurs build successful tech companies. They focus on creating a strong network of Black founders, investors, and professionals to foster collaboration and innovation in the tech ecosystem.
