It operates in two segments, Electricity Generating and Other Businesses. The Electricity Generation segment generates and distributes electricity for the government sectors and industrial users. The Other Businesses segment provides maintenance and operating services for power plants. The company generates electricity through co-generation, solar, hydro, wind, hybrid, and waste to energy sources. As of December 31, 2021, it had 53 power plants with a total installed capacity of 3,254 megawatts. The company was founded in 1878 and is headquartered in Bangkok, Thailand.
