History
Bank of Kyoto was founded on the 17th of April 1872. It is Japan’s oldest surviving bank and was instrumental in the modernization of the country’s financial sector in the late 19th century. In the early 21st century, Bank of Kyoto expanded into new areas such as consumer banking and online banking services.
