History

Ekso Bionics was founded in 2005 by Eythor Bender, Russ Angold and Herman Sens. Their mission was to develop the first exoskeleton to help people with lower limb paralysis or weakness to stand and walk. Ekso Bionics has since become a leader in the exoskeleton industry and has been developing products to help those with spinal cord injuries, stroke, multiple sclerosis, and brain injuries.
