Berry Global traces its roots back to 1967 when design engineer, Earl T. Berry, founded Industrial Container Corporation (ICC) with one injection molding machine in Evansville, Indiana. Initially supplying containers to small local businesses the company grew rapidly and experienced a series of acquisitions and mergers culminating in 2005 with its acquisition by IMPAC International and its name change to Berry Plastics Corporation. In 2017, the company dropped the word Plastics from its name, becoming Berry Global and rebranding itself as a global leader in its sector.
