History
Berry Plastics was founded in 1967 by a group of entrepreneurs from Evansville, IN. It was originally named Imperial Plastics and was a wholly-owned subsidiary of Imperial Brush Company. The company eventually went public in 1983 before going private again in 1991. Berry Plastics went public again in 2006 and has been giving shareholders good returns since then.
