History
Biosensors International Group was founded in 1987 as a joint venture between Medtronic, Inc., and the University of Singapore’s Agency for Science, Technology and Research. In 1996, the company went public and is now traded on the Singapore Stock Exchange. Biosensors has since become a leader in the development and manufacture of life-saving medical devices and diagnostics, including novel heart stents, catheters, and replacement heart valves.
