History

Bombril was founded in 1962 by entrepreneur Fernando Heine and 400 workers. Heine believed there to be a large market of consumers searching for affordable cleaning and hygiene products who, until this point, had few options. Bombril quickly grew, due to its focus on affordable and quality products, to become the leading company in the category. In addition to cleaning and hygiene products, Bombril also produces sponge scourers, surface and bath accessories, window cleaners, and other specialty products.
