History

Brookline Bancorp has been serving customers since 1871 and has grown from a single branch in Brookline, Massachusetts to seven locations across four states. In 2012, Brookline Bancorp acquired the four Bank of Canton branches, followed by sharp expansions into New York City and Ohio in 2015. In 2017, Brookline Bancorp acquired Edward Jones Bank, an online bank located in St. Louis.
