History
In 2022, Elfried Samba and Michael Heaven identified a glaring gap in the creative industry: a lack of representation and opportunity for diverse talents. Both founders aspired to leave a significant mark in the creative world but were hindered by the lack of role models and accessible pathways. Their personal experiences highlighted the persistent barriers that many diverse talents face, inspiring them to create what they wished had existed during their own journeys. Recognising this persistent obstacle, Elfried and Michael decided to move promptly, founding Butterfly 3ffect with a mission to provide the future generation of creators with accessible channels for growth and opportunity.
