Chandra Goyal was born in India, where he began his early education and pursued his higher studies with a focus on business and international trade. He attended Gujarat University from 2002 to 2004, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA). Following this, he continued his education at Ahmedabad Management Association, where he completed a Post Graduate Diploma in International Business from 2004 to 2005.
To expand his international knowledge further, Chandra moved to the United Kingdom and joined Leeds Beckett University in 2005. There, he successfully completed a Master of Arts degree in International Business, specialising in Corporate Strategy and International Business Environment in 2006.
His professional career began in 2005 when he joined GE Money as a Financial Consultant. At GE Money, his role involved managing motor finance agreements. His duties included verifying financial security checks, ensuring proper underwriting, and authorising payments for clients buying vehicles through finance agreements. He worked closely with major car retailers, ensuring compliance and smooth financial transactions.
In 2006, Chandra changed industries and entered retail management, joining Carphone Warehouse Plc as a General Manager. Over the next seven years, until 2013, Chandra led a large retail team and managed operations. His primary responsibilities included recruiting and training staff, achieving sales and customer service targets, handling stock management, and ensuring strict compliance with security and health and safety regulations.
After gaining significant experience in finance and retail, Chandra became an entrepreneur. In 2013, he co-founded Instant Karma Retail Ltd. He took on the role of Investor and Director, guiding the company’s strategy, business growth, and overall management.
In 2020, he strengthened his position in retail by investing in and becoming Director at Instant Karma Store Ltd., a UK-based retail store specialising in a variety of products. His role involved making strategic decisions, overseeing business operations, and helping to grow the company's presence and profitability.
Recognising opportunities in venture capital, Chandra founded KRG Ventures Limited in February 2022. KRG Ventures focuses on strategic investments in early-stage startups and small businesses involved in innovative and sustainable technologies. KRG Ventures also specialises in real estate investment, clean technology initiatives, and helps companies implement Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) practices.
KRG Ventures has worked with notable businesses such as Worldplay, YHJ Trading Limited, Tongadive, Siya, DNA Payments, Oak North, and Focus Group. Through KRG Ventures, Chandra provides funding solutions, helping companies integrate technologies such as IoT, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Blockchain to enhance operations, reduce costs, and build customer loyalty.
Apart from his entrepreneurial roles, Chandra actively contributes to London's business community. Since August 2022, he has been a member of the Board of Directors at the Soho Business Alliance. The Soho Business Alliance represents over 110 businesses and supports them by offering networking opportunities, legal advice, licensing assistance, and initiatives that encourage economic growth in the local area.
Currently, Chandra Goyal continues to lead KRG Ventures Limited. His primary focus remains investing in innovative startups and small businesses. He actively guides these businesses, helping them grow sustainably. He is also actively involved in the strategic oversight of Instant Karma Store Ltd. and maintains his role supporting local businesses through the Soho Business Alliance.
