History

Chicony Electronics Co., Ltd. was founded in 1983 in Taipei, Taiwan by Paul Chang and his wife. The couple was determined to create a company that could provide computer peripherals with high quality and reliability. They began by producing keyboards and mice, and quickly expanded their product range from there. Over the following years, their product line expanded to include cooling systems, webcams, and power supplies. By the early 2000s, Chicony had become a globally recognized brand for OEM/ODM computer peripherals.
