Biography

Chris Winfield was born and raised in the United States. He attended the University of Albany, where he studied business and communications. As part of his education, he spent his junior year working for Congressman Michael McNulty in Washington, DC, and his senior year attending the University of Westminster in London, England.

 

In 1999, he started his career at SpiderFuel, Inc., a web development company backed by venture capitalists. He worked there for two years, gaining experience in web development and internet marketing. In 2002, he founded 10e20, LLC, a social media marketing company. Under his leadership, the company became a well-known firm in digital marketing. In 2010, 10e20 merged with BlueGlass Interactive, Inc., where Winfield took on the role of Chief Marketing Officer. At BlueGlass, he managed branding and marketing, securing major clients such as Disney, Virgin, Macy’s, and NBC Universal. He also created the BlueGlassX conference series, which attracted industry professionals worldwide.

 

In 2013, Winfield founded Chris Winfield & Co., a consultancy focused on productivity and media relations.
