History

COLOPL was founded in July as a game studio by Naruatsu Baba. Starting with social games on Mobage, it released various titles including Knights of the Rainbow and Battle Girl High School. In 2012, COLOPL expanded into the industry of making mobile applications through their Smartphone App Division. In the same year, COLOPL entered the Chinese mobile gaming market, by releasing Knights of the Star for Chinese users. In 2013, COLOPL released the mobile puzzle game, PuzzlEgg. The game became an instant hit with more than 10 million downloads worldwide. In 2018, COLOPL secured a multiyear business collaboration with Tencent Games.
