History

Founded in 1975 as a joint venture between the National Bank of Egypt and the Chase Manhattan Bank, CIB has been serving Egyptian customers since its early beginnings. The bank has grown steadily over the last few decades and today serves over 5 million customers, with more than 200 branches throughout the country.
