History

Copperstone Resources was founded in 2006 by a team of experienced geologists and analysts with a vision to become one of Sweden’s largest mineral exploration and development companies. Since its establishment, Copperstone has established a strong portfolio of exploration projects in Sweden and has raised more than SEK 250 million for exploration activities. Copperstone’s focus is to discover and develop new resources in areas where few explorers have ventured and to work with local communities to ensure that areas affected by its exploration and development activities are conserved and protected

In 2010 Copperstone was awarded the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce's Nordic Award for Enterprises and was recognized as Sweden's fastest growing exploration company by the Swedish mining industry. In 2011 the company was awarded the Swedish Mineral Industry’s Innovation Prize, as well as the Invest in Sweden Agency’s Venture Investment Award.
