History
Curagen was founded in 1996 as a public company with the intention of becoming a leader in biopharmaceutical discovery and development and to create a sustainable enterprise focused on providing superior life sciences products. Over the years, the company has achieved significant scientific milestones, receiving numerous awards and accumulating a number of patents. In 2007, the company was acquired by Celgene Corporation and became a wholly-owned subsidiary.
