History

The company was founded in 2008 by CVR Energy, Inc., an independent petroleum refiner and marketer of transportation fuels and through-the-fence jet fuels, and is the largest urea ammonia nitrate (“UAN”) producer in the United States. CVR Partners operates two production facilities, one in Coffeyville, KS and the other in East Dubuque, IL.
