History

Daiwa House Group was established in 1955 in Hiroshima, Japan. The company was founded by Seijiro Ishibashi, an engineer and entrepreneur who was dedicated to making comfortable, modern housing available to all. Initially focused on single-family home building, the company quickly grew to become one of the largest home builders in Japan. In the 1970s and 1980s, the company expanded its operations to include international markets and opened offices in the United States, Australia, South Korea, China, and Taiwan. Today, the company has a global presence and is committed to creating sustainable, energy-efficient homes.
