History

DAVIDsTEA was founded by Herschel and David Segal in 2008. The first store opened in Toronto, Canada in 2008, and the company has since opened more than 200 stores, primarily located in Canada. Through its stores and its website, DAVIDsTEA offers a selection of over 150 teas, including exclusive blends, limited edition seasonal collections, traditional teas and exotic infusions from around the world, plus related tea ware and other merchandise. The company also sells tea-inspired products such as tea latte mixes, hot chocolate, and matcha powder.
