History

Dena Bank was established in 1938 as 'Devkaran Nanjee Banking Company Ltd.' by the family of Devkaran Nanjee. It was nationalized by the Indian government in 1969 and in July 1969 the bank became one of the nationalized banks in India. The bank was renamed Dena Bank Limited on 26th May, 1995. Presently, Dena Bank has 1,495 branches and 1,425 ATMs. Net worth of Dena Bank as of March 2018 was Rs. 6,202 crore.
