Dhofar Insurance Company opens its doors in 1988 in Salalah as the first private insurer in the Sultanate of Oman. Being the first private insurer to operate in the Sultanate has made them a pioneer in the insurance market.Dhofar Insurance is committed to making an outstanding customer experience to its clients by providing them with customized insurance products and services that suit their needs and objectives. They also strive to maintain their corporate social responsibility, transparency and integrity.
History

Dhofar Insurance Company was founded in 1988 as a private company in Salalah, Oman. It was the first private insurer to operate in the Sultanate and pioneered the development of the insurance industry in Oman. The company was established by prominent Omani business leaders and since that date the company has grown to become a leader in the insurance industry. The company has grown to over 20 branches nationwide, making it the second largest insurer in the Sultanate.
