In a major announcement in March, 2022 the venture fund and accelerator announced an expanded partnership with investor and developer Jeff Vinik, which includes a $12 million investment and Vinik joining as a partner and member of Dreamit’s Board of Directors. This is a notable investment for Vinik, who made his reputation managing over $50B in capital in Fidelity’s Magellan Fund, widely recognized as the world’s best-known actively managed mutual fund.
