Dubai Financial Market PJSC (DFM) is a place where people can buy and sell shares of DFM-listed companies and other securities. DFM was established in 2000 with a vision of becoming the leading public market for exchanges and trading in the Middle East. It provides a safe and secure market for UAE companies, investors and foreign investors from around the world.
History

The Dubai Financial Market was established by a decree from the Government of Dubai and was formally opened for trading on March 26, 2000. It was the first exchange in the UAE to facilitate the listing of shares and other forms of securities. The DFM was the first UAE exchange to provide online trading, and it currently has over 2,000 listed companies.
