E INC. was founded in 1903 by William C. Durant. Their first vehicle was the E Type, which was released in 1908. In the years following, E INC. grew rapidly and became an industry leader. They were the first automaker to introduce an advanced assembly line and pioneered the development of hybrid and electric vehicles.
