History
Emergency Assistance Japan was founded in 2008, with the mission to provide support to those affected by natural disasters and improve public safety throughout the world. The organization was started by a group of volunteers who wanted to make an impact in the aftermath of the 2008 Sichuan earthquake. Since then, Emergency Assistance Japan has expanded to serve over 70 countries, providing support for disaster recovery, disaster risk reduction, and emergency response.
