Flour Mills of Nigeria PLC is one of the leading manufacturers and distributors of food and beverage products in Nigeria. It is the first flour mill to be incorporated in the country and its activities are now diversified through a growing portfolio in the food and beverage industry.
History

Flour Mills of Nigeria PLC was originally founded by George S Johnston on 28 May 1960 as a Private Limited Company. In 1969, it was converted to a Public Limited Company with the name of Nigerian Flour Mills Ltd. In 1972, the company was incorporated as Flour Mills of Nigeria Plc, to assume public liability and to become a major player in the flour milling industry in the nation.
