The company was formerly known as Palisades Ventures Inc. and changed its name to Fremont Gold Ltd. in June 2017. Fremont Gold Ltd. was incorporated in 2007 and is headquartered in Vancouver, Canada.

History

Fremont Gold was founded in 2009 to evaluate potential advanced stage gold project acquisitions in Nevada. In 2011, the company acquired the Columbus and San Marcos projects in White Pine County, Nevada, which ultimately formed the core of the company's exploration activity going forward. In 2017, Fremont Gold was acquired by US Gold Corp and the exploration focus has since shifted to the Goldfield project.
