History

Galaxy Entertainment Group was established in Macau in 1988, when the city was just beginning to transition from a sleepy backwater village to a vibrant international tourist destination. The company's first integrated resort, Galaxy Macau, opened in 2011, introducing a new level of luxury and entertainment to Macau. Since then, GEG has grown to become one of the largest operators of gaming and entertainment-related properties in the world.
